What a week. Thank you Universe and nan for providing me with a memorable smorgasbord! . We may have missed the annual city to surf as we felt as a family it was too soon after Nan’s passing. I did mis the atmosphere but knew emotionally it would have been too challenging. So instead we spent the afternoon at Waipara tasting superb local wine and cuisine and creating new memories. On Tuesday, I was super excited to be named Zonta Women in Business Award 2013. What an honour. Having my family and the LeapStar crew there was awesome! Wednesday and we headed off to a fundraiser for endometriosis and brought home a gorgeous Redcurrent gift basket. The week full of magnificent moments – all from making a decision to take part and start . In one week some of our LeapStars have decided to start! Their journey begins on a health and fitness challenge for 20 weeks. I was excited and envious. I shared with mum and said how cool it would be to do it again but I would never go up against my LeapStars. After 12months on crutches and a rocky couple of years, I was so ready get back on my bike and tone up again. Mum said why don’t I take part alongside…. And then like another gift I was sent an email offering an opportunity to enter a PT 20 Weeks comp. WOW just the final inspiration I needed! Bring it on 2013….. It’s going to be a cracker. 7 sleeps until we kick off Series 10! 🙂
